Teams and Clubs
Currently there are four levels of teams throughout our branches. Every member of B.L.A.M. has the opportunity of joining Team B.L.A.M. by participating in an event and proving that:
- The student and their parents can adhere to the Student & Parent Code of Conduct.
- The student must display good team spirit, superior sportsmanship and a positive B.L.A.M. attitude whether they win or lose.
- The student must be able to accept construtive coaching before, during and after they finish their competition from Taishi and/or any higher ranking student.
- The student needs to give their all whenever they compete and if that equates to being #13 out of 13 competitors, then that is all that we require.

Team B.L.A.M. “Elite”
With bold snow camouflage uniforms, hakama’s, cloaks and battle cry that make other schools feel ….”uncomfortable” to say the least, the Elite Team is just that.
Online applications are now available for all Team B.L.A.M. members who wish to apply for The Elite Team.
The guidelines are simple:
- You must apply for a position on the team and/or be nominated by a current Elite Team member.
- You must perform well (but not necessarily win) at various tournaments.
- You must then try-out for The Elite Team.
- You must then receive a unanimous vote from all of the active Elite Team members that participate in your try-out.
- You must purchase or be sponsored for the additional Elite Team apparel: Fighting Uniform, Fighting Gear, Warm-up Suit, Bandana and T-shirt.
- You must attend all Elite practices, unless excused by Taishi
- You must place in the top 3 at every state or local event that you compete in.
- You must place in the top 8 at every national or international event that you compete in.
- You must adhere to the B.L.A.M. Student Code & Conduct Handbook.
- Any such violations will immediately put you on a 30-day probation and removal from the team for an additional 30-days until the matter(s) are resolved.
